From Family Violence to Health (Intermediate level)

Student Welcome Letter

On Wednesday, March 4, 2009, intermediate-level students will participate in one of the following
2-hour module sessions:

12:00 to 2:00pm  McInnes Room, Student Union Building, Dalhousie University

  2:00 to 4:00pm   McInnes Room, Student Union Building, Dalhousie University

  4:00 to 6:00pm   McInnes Room, Student Union Building, Dalhousie University

Session, and group assignment will be posted below by discipline.
Note: You are required to participate in your assigned group--please do not switch places with another student.

Pre-Module Reading Assignment: Please read the Definition and Introduction to the From Family Violence to Health module, Case Studies #1, 2, and 3, as well as the Discussion Questions.

Required post-module assignment: You must complete the Student Feedback Survey to receive the Post-module Reflection Questions

Substitute Assignment: If you are unable to attend one of the From Family Violence to Health sessions and have permission from your course professor to be absent, your professor may require you to complete the Substitiute Assignment. Please contact your course professor for the due date of this assignment. Alternatively, professors may prefer to develop their own assignment for students who do not attend.

All session and group assignments will be posted online at www.ipl.dal.ca by 11:59pm on Feb. 23

A final updated list will be posted Friday March 27th, your session and group will not change from the Feb. 23 list unless you have made a request.

I have overbooked session C(4:00-6:00) if you would like to attend session A(12:00-2:00) instead please let me know by 6:00pm Tuesday March 3rd.
